Missions at First UMC Salisbury

At First United Methodist Church of Salisbury, we are called to share the love of Christ not only within our church walls, but out in our community. Through hands-on service, partnerships, and prayer, we seek to make a lasting difference in the lives of our neighbors.

Rowan Helping Ministries

We support Rowan Helping Ministries by providing meals, volunteers, and donations that meet the immediate needs of those experiencing hunger and homelessness. Our members serve meals, collect supplies, and offer compassion—reminding our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and loved.

Camp Discovery

Camp Discovery is our free summer day camp for children referred to by their school in the Salisbury community. Through Bible stories, games, crafts, and service projects, kids experience God’s love in a safe, welcoming environment. This ministry provides joy, friendship, and faith-building experiences for children who may not otherwise have access to summer camp.

Hanford Dole Elementary School

We are proud to partner with Hanford Dole Elementary as a way of supporting students, teachers, and families in our community. Our church provides encouragement, classroom supplies, and special programs that help children thrive academically and personally. By walking alongside this school, we invest in the next generation with love and hope.

Project Agape – Armenia

Through Project Agape, our congregation reaches children in Armenia with care, love, and essential supplies. By packing and sending gifts, clothing, and educational resources, we help meet the physical and spiritual needs of children who may have limited opportunities. Project Agape is a tangible way for our church family to show God’s love across the globe.
